My poor hands

The morning after the wedding reception, I awoke with itchy palms. They drove me nuts and as the day progressed the itch spread to the backs of my hands and the skin thickened and swelled. I tried everything on them and it just kept getting worse. By Monday I couldn't stand it anymore and went to the hospital.

They put me on prednisone for a week. With 3 daily doses of Phenergan. I am going to swell up like a balloon, that prednisone stuff makes you retain fluid.

What fun.

It worked though and my hands are back to normal. Still wrinkly but no longer itchy and swollen.
